Build it up, Tear it down

They have been knocking down the building next door brick by brick with a sledge hammer for the last couple of weeks. Check out that stair case!
In the afternoon they sort the rubble into bricks that are still in pristine shape, and can be re-used, bricks that are broken and will be broken more by folks with hammers and used as gravel, and useless cement and dust.
At night separate trucks come in at 10, 11 and 12 to haul away each pile. It is noisy. But at least my whole job doesn't consist of breaking 4 story houses by hand or sorting the rubble.

Just as long as our old home is still in tact. How's the second floor mould doing? Miss it, and you, very much!
